2-Day Experiential Workshop
 
As a gong player, you create a sonic journey using a variety of mallets, stroke techniques, and if you’re lucky a selection of gongs. Traditionally, the sound is directed and initiated by the player.
Imagine learning a technique where you co-create in the moment with the gong.

Flumies, or friction mallets, when used correctly, profoundly deepen your practice. They evoke the cosmic essence and resonance of the instrument, vibrating at the lowest and most powerful harmonics to support healing. This technique requires patience, collaboration, communion, and skill.
Used incorrectly, the balls may fall off the mallets or the screeching sound may “wake the dead.” But used correctly, they instantly transport the listener to the far reaches of the cosmos.
 
Trained personally by B Love, the inventor of B Love Flumies, Martha is now qualified to teach his curriculum to others. By the end of this workshop, you will have gained a new appreciation for the gong, expanded your skills, and opened a new chapter in your sonic creativity.
A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who complete both days.

This certificate permits the use of B Love techniques for personal practice only. (Teaching these methods requires Level 2 certification.)
